Your animal lives with us — fully fed, trained, cared for and loved every single day. You visit on your scheduled time, build a real bond, and watch them grow. All food, veterinary care, grooming and training included.

Senior Program
Seniors aren't done yet either. Our Senior Program connects older adults with senior dogs and cats who need calm, loving companionship. No heavy lifting required — just presence, patience and love. Seniors can volunteer, visit or become Co-Parent Members. The bond between a senior person and a senior animal is one of the most powerful things we've ever witnessed. Ask us how to get involved..
Junior Keeper Program
Want to teach your child responsibility without the full commitment of a pet at home? Our Junior Keeper Program lets children learn how to care for, walk and bond with animals in a safe supervised environment. Families participate together — building confidence, compassion and life skills one visit at a time. If your child decides pet ownership isn't for them, no problem. No unwanted animals at home. Just priceless experience and memories.
Volunteer Program
Your time is one of the most valuable things you can give. Volunteers help with daily care, walking, socialization and events. In some cases volunteering can reduce the cost of your Co-Parent Membership. Whether you have an hour a week or a full day — every moment you give goes directly to an animal who needs you. Questions We Hear Most Often
What if I move away from Chico? Life happens and we understand that. If you relocate we can transition you to a Supporting Guardian membership so you can continue supporting your animal from anywhere in the world. Your bond doesn't have to end just because your address changes.
What if the animal passes away? We will always be honest with you about your animal's health. If they pass, you have the choice to honor them permanently on our Memory Lane page, transition to another animal, or simply know that because of you they lived their best life possible. Nothing about their passing diminishes what you gave them.
Can I visit anytime I want? Co-Parent visits are scheduled in advance to make sure your animal is ready and staff is available to give you the best experience. Think of it like a standing date — consistent, expected and something your animal looks forward to.
What if I want to help but don't live in Chico? You can still be part of this family from anywhere in the world. Become a Supporting Guardian with a small monthly donation, use our Amazon link every time you shop at no extra cost, share our stories, or honor a pet on Memory Lane.
